Certification

Some Project Managers want professional recognition for their experience, ability and skills.  Some companies have their own Project Management Certification and performance evaluation program; others rely on the Project Management Institute (PMI)®.  Obtaining either Project Management Professional (PMP)® or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification is increasingly important in today’s marketplace; driving the need for faster and better learning.

The Project Management Institute (PMI)® is the recognized global authority identifying and charting the processes and knowledge necessary to build professional project managers.  They have also written the official text called “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge” (PMBOK®Guide).  To achieve PMP® status requires passing a tough 200 question examination in all ten PMBOK® Guide knowledge areas.  CAPM® certification requires passing a 150 question exam.  Those who pass is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)® or a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®.

PCI Global provides this entire integrated package of screening, learning, and testing options to pass either exam the first time.
